About TREAT PET RESCUE
Location:
Southeast Huntington Beach, HUNTINGTN BCH, CA 92646, US
Mission Statement
Our mission is to rescue dogs who have experienced adverse circumstances and help them grow from scared to safe to socialized. Our purpose is to promote a change in our society in which dogs get the quality of life they deserve. We aim to accomplish this by rescuing dogs that have experienced difficult circumstances and providing them with training, medical care, and nurture before placing them in a home that understands the rehabilitation process and continues to promote their growth. With each dog we rescue and adopt out, we look to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and help them with resources to better care for their dog’s needs.
Description
TREAT Pet Rescue is a small, foster-based dog rescue formed in 2023 in Huntington Beach, CA. Our primary focus is on small dogs under 30 pounds, inclusive of all breeds. We partner with a veterinary hospital and a professional trainer to ensure that the dogs we rescue receive the care and support they need to succeed in their forever home. We are looking for volunteers who are interested not just in walking dogs but also learning the techniques recommended by our trainer and helping us with the training process.
