Administrative Assistant/General Manager
Youth Arts Assemblies in Schools (YAAS) is a newly formed non-profit organization dedicated to bringing arts enrichment programs to schools. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant/General Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about the arts and education to play a vital role in our organization's development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Founder/Director, including scheduling, email correspondence, and document preparation.
- Assist with the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.
- Manage financial tasks, such as bookkeeping, budgeting, and grant writing.
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management.
- Help plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This opportunity will not demand fixed hours and is flexible with availability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, non-profit management, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support or general management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for the arts and education.
