Mission Statement
The mission of Horizons for homeless children is to improve the lives of homeless children and their families. We provide homeless children in Massachusetts with the nurturing, stimulation and opportunities for early education and play that all children need to learn and grow in healthy ways.
Description
Horizons for Homeless Children touches the lives of hundreds of children each week by providing early care and education in our Community Childrens Centers in Greater Boston and creating Playspaces in shelters through out Massachusetts. Horizons for Homeless Children is a leader in advocating for homeless children and their families. At local, state and federal levels, we promote and support policies that benefit homeless children and their families. Together with other service providers, we are building a strong foundation for homeless children and moving their families to self sufficiency.
