Recruiting Organization: STEM Montessori Academy of Canada
STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Time Commitment: 2 meetings per week, 30 minutes (days and times TBD by group); 1-2 hours per week planning and execution
Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the creation and refinement of medical science curricula, ensuring alignment with industry standards and educational best practices.
• Event Planning: Organize and execute medical science events, such as conferences and workshops, to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking within the field.
• Research Collaboration: Identify and cultivate partnerships with external organizations to advance medical science research initiatives.
• Student Engagement: Develop strategies to attract and engage students in medical science programs, fostering a strong pipeline of future professionals.
• Program Management: Contribute to the overall management of medical science initiatives, including resource allocation and performance evaluation.
Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in medical science or related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry).
• Strong understanding of medical science principles and current research trends.
• Experience in curriculum development or instructional design preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to advancing medical science education and research.
