Recruiting Organization: STEM Montessori Academy of Canada
STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM- based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Time Commitment: 2 meetings per week, 30 minutes (days and times TBD by group); 1-2 hours per week planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee the long-term strategic direction of medical science programs.
• Create and review policies governing medical science education and research initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing medical science programs and recommend improvements.
• Foster collaboration among faculty, students, researchers, and industry partners.
• Manage program resources, including budget and personnel, to achieve program goals.
Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of the medical science field.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player.
• Commitment to advancing medical science.
• Previous committee or academic administration experience preferred.
