This annual charity two day golf outing celebrates the legacy of golf pioneer and golf trailblazer Ted Rhodes and is a fundraiser for the HBCU School Fisk University Golf Team and Junior Golf Program First Tee of Tennessee. We are expecting between 75-100 male and female amateur golfers from across the country.
The volunteers are a very important part of this golf outing! We are looking for people that have great communication and leadership skills. Also, people that have a basic knowledge of golf is very helpful.

Dates: Saturday, September 7, 2024 or Sunday, September 8, 2024 (Volunteer one or both days)
Morning Volunteer Shifts: 6:15 am - 11:30 am (and we can be flexible with your schedule needs)

Our mission is to preserve and honor the legacy of golfing pioneer Theodore "Ted" Rhodes.
Ted Rhodes’ vision was to make the game of golf open to all races. The Foundation is honoring his vision by creating pipelines of African Americans to work in the golf industry as golfers or professionals working in the golf industry by hosting educational events, golf clinics, and golf tournaments for youth and adults. Our youth program is Future Golfers of America " Growing the Champions of Tomorrow’. We provide financial support to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) golf programs and golf team members to help further this mission. We also partner with local urban youth golf programs. Opening doors to the world of golf.
