Join volunteers across the country on September 28th for National Public Lands Day to celebrate 30 years of care and community for our public lands.
Why: Your efforts will help restore this habitat for wildlife as well as create a beautiful place for the community to enjoy!
Who: Since its founding in 1988, the Conservancy has successfully preserved 1,600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
What to Expect: Celebrate our public lands by helping to care for the White Point Nature Preserve Native Plant Demonstration Garden! Weeding and watering activities, a guided native garden walk, children's activities, and more!

The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."
Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
