Do you love Babies? - Good Beginnings is seeking Volunteers for their Postpartum Angel Program!

Good Beginnings of Central Vermont is seeking volunteers to help families with newborn babies feel supported and connected to their community. Visiting with families as a Good Beginnings Postpartum Angel is a great way to have a meaningful volunteer experience that involves cuddling babies, supporting new parents, and building community. Our Postpartum Angel program is a free service in which we match new parents with a trained community volunteer who visits the family in the home weekly for up to 12 weeks postpartum. Available to anyone caring for a new baby, this program offers respite, companionship, and hands-on practical help for families during this intense and vulnerable time. The experience can be life-changing for family and volunteer alike. In the words of one volunteer, "I am so, so privileged to be a volunteer home visitor. [This] is probably the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life!"
