A Second Wish By Demetrius is a Tampa, FL-based community organization dedicated to granting second wishes to children aged 8 to 18 who are facing life-threatening illnesses. We also offer support services to their families, providing renewed hope and creating lasting memories during difficult times.
A Second Wish By Demetrius Inc. was founded in 2008 in memory of my nephew Demetrius, with a goal of providing second wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. In 2015 A Second Wish By Demetrius began granting second wishes. Our goal continues to be to grant second wishes and to serve the local community. Our outlet store was opened in 2020 to provide quality clothing and household goods at a low cost to those in the local community.
The "Courageous Kids Gift of Triumph" program celebrates the resilience and bravery of children in the Tampa Bay area who have overcome obstacles in their lives. Through this program, we aim to recognize their achievements and provide them with a small gift or token of encouragement to celebrate their triumphs and inspire them to keep moving forward with courage and determination. We have partnered with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Legends at Raymond James Stadium for the last eight seasons to help support our mission and programs.
