STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an
advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the
interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math
(STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school
with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to
teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results. L ocation: Remote

Description: Are you excited about shaping the future of global education? We’re
looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our international event planning team
for an upcoming Global Education Fair, where we’ll showcase our innovative
Medical Science and Engineering Academy's to a diverse audience. This is a
unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience, work alongside industry
experts, and make a significant impact on the educational landscape. By
volunteering for 3 months, you’ll help create an engaging and memorable
experience for attendees while showcasing the transformative potential of our
innovation programming for students ages 7-17. Come be a part of this exciting
project and help us connect with parents, students and educators from around
the world!
Key Responsibilities:
Design visually engaging and meticulously organized presentations for
different event sessions, such as keynote speeches, panel discussions, and
workshops.
Collaborate with speakers and event planners to seamlessly incorporate
content, guaranteeing that presentations are in line with event themes
and goals.
Enhance the presentation experience and engage the audience by
creating and including graphics, charts, and multimedia elements.
Create and keep up with presentation templates that follow branding
guidelines and maintain consistency across all event materials.
Revise and update presentations as needed according to feedback from
speakers and organizers to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Make sure that your presentations work well with virtual event platforms
and solve any problems that may arise with delivering the presentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Presentation Creator or similar role, with a strong
portfolio of successful campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in
additional languages is a plus.
Excellent ability in graphic design, versed in producing visually captivating
content.
Skill in handling different types of content formats and effectively
incorporating multimedia elements.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop
innovative strategies.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to
manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Passion for STEM education and commitment to promoting STEM literacy
and application.
Proficiency in presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Google
Slides, or similar tools.
Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with a diverse global audience.
