STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an
advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the
interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math
(STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school
with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to
teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

Time commitment: 6 hours a week
Description: Are you excited about shaping the future of global education? We’re
looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our international event planning team for an upcoming Global Education Fair, where we’ll showcase our innovative
Medical Science and Engineering Academy's to a diverse audience. This is a
unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience, work alongside industry
experts, and make a significant impact on the educational landscape. By
volunteering for 3 months, you’ll help create an engaging and memorable
experience for attendees while showcasing the transformative potential of our
innovation programming for students ages 7-17. Come be a part of this exciting
project and help us connect with parents, students and educators from around
the world!
Key Responsibilities:
 Create compelling educational programs that support our organization's
mission and objectives.
 Manage a group of volunteers and partners, orchestrating activities to
guarantee smooth program implementation.
 Develop and uphold connections with speakers, teachers, and
collaborators to improve program excellence and outreach.
 Help with creating and overseeing budgets for every event, making sure
resources are used efficiently and costs are minimized.
 Evaluate results of programs and feedback from participants to gauge
effectiveness and pinpoint areas for enhancement, offering detailed
reports.
 Work together with the leaders of the organization to establish strategic
goals and objectives for the global education efforts.
Requirements:
 Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role, with a strong
portfolio of successful campaigns.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in
additional languages is a plus.
 Effective leadership abilities to oversee and inspire a varied team.
 Proficiency in virtual event platforms and technology.
 Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop
innovative strategies.
 Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to
manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
 Passion for STEM education and commitment to promoting STEM literacy
and application.
 Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with a diverse global audience.
