Role Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Volunteer Grant Writer to join our team and help us secure funding to expand our impactful programs. As a Volunteer Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals that align with our mission and funding needs.

Responsibilities:

• Researching potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
• Writing and editing grant proposals and applications.
• Assembling required documentation and supporting materials for grant submissions.
• Communicating with grant-making organizations to clarify submission guidelines or requirements.
• Tracking and reporting on the status of grant applications.
• Collaborating with our team to understand program needs and funding priorities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant writing, preferably for nonprofit organizations.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Familiarity with grant databases and funding research tools is a plus.
• Passion for our mission and a commitment to making a difference in underserved communities.
• Must reside in the United States
