Want to help get more trees planted in your community?
We partner with multiple cities in and around the Twin Cities Metro Area to offer trees at a highly discounted price for city residents. Supported by grants, city funding, and corporate gifts, these events are essential for their communities as they make tree planting more accessible for all!
These events are typically held on weekend mornings in the spring and fall at the Public Works building of the municipality. Volunteers are needed to help unload trees from delivery trucks, load trees and mulch into customer vehicles, and attend to various administrative tasks including checking in customers, handing out literature, and directing traffic .
These events involve a lot of standing and a good deal of lifting; remember to lift with your legs, not your back!
We will provide training, work gloves, and high-visibility vests for your safety. Please bring a water bottle, and wear durable outdoor clothes that can get dirty! Closed-toe shoes or boots are preferred.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to transform lives and landscapes by engaging people to build skills for meaningful careers, inspiring people to plant trees, and making our community a greener, healthier place to live.
Description
At Tree Trust, we believe trees are superheroes. They cool our neighborhoods from the hot summer sun, soak up storm water, reduce crime, and lead the way in helping reduce the effects of climate change in our communities.
This year, our goal is to plant and distribute 10,500 trees in the Twin Cities Metro Area. This past spring, we had 16 tree planting events and held tree distributions in 9 cities! Join us this fall as we continue our work in growing a healthy urban forest!
