Job Title: Graphic Designer
Reports To: External Director
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Position Type: Volunteer
Purpose of the Job:
To enhance the visual identity and digital presence of our non-profit organization through innovative and visually compelling graphic content. This role plays a critical role in driving our digital marketing initiatives, improving user engagement, and promoting our mission globally.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Produce engaging graphic designs for digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, and our website, that align with our brand and mission. Use creativity and contemporary graphic design trends to ensure the creation of high-quality visual content. [Critical]
Brand Consistency: Ensure all graphic content consistently reflects our branding guidelines to fortify our identity across digital channels. [Critical]
Global Brand Expansion: Collaborate with the social media manager, Web Designers, and Content Creators to create and disseminate content that propels I2U's brand onto a global stage. Leverage innovative designs to capture a worldwide audience and facilitate our mission's international exposure. [Critical]
Trend Awareness and Application: Stay informed about the latest graphic design trends and technologies, applying this insight to produce relevant and engaging designs that captivate our audience and set our organization apart. [Non-Critical]

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Enrollment in or completion of a university program.
A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills and creativity.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently in a fully remote team.
Self-driven with effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
This volunteer position is fully remote, offering flexible hours to fit around your academic schedule and personal commitments. Occasional virtual meetings for collaboration, feedback, and updates will be required.
Physical Requirements:
Primarily involves sitting and extensive use of a computer for design tasks.

Mission Statement
Inspired 2 Uplift endeavours to support youth with disabilities while also educating and raising awareness about disability-related issues among the younger generation. As a student-led nonprofit organization, Inspired 2 Uplift is a collective of passionate students who are devoted to elevating the voices of those with disabilities. We actively advocate for disability-related causes and issues and are united by the belief that youth have a unique, powerful role to play in effecting positive change. Our chapters, located in various schools, are testament to this belief - each one a dynamic team of young advocates working tirelessly to make a difference. These bodies of students, inspired to uplift, are finding innovative ways to further disability-related causes in their own communities. Inspired 2 Uplift is a movement built by youth, for youth, transforming empathy into action, and creating a more inclusive world, chapter by chapter, student by student.

Inspired 2 Uplift is a student-led youth organization that endeavours to support youth with disabilities while also educating and raising awareness about disability-related issues among the younger generation. We hope to do our part in erasing the stigma surrounding youth with disabilities.
