Do you have a passion for golf and a desire to make a difference? The Special Olympics is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join us as golf assistant coaches for both 9-hole and 18-hole play! This is a fantastic opportunity to help athletes with intellectual disabilities refine their game, enjoy the sport, and experience the thrill of golf.

When? each coach picks with athletes, time of practice is up to coach

As a Special Olympics assistant coach, you bring enthusiasm, commitment and a positive attitude to each practice, event and competition. You will enrich the lives of our athletes in many life-changing ways. The skills and confidence an athlete learns through sports have a long and lasting effect. They can help an athlete succeed in school or even find a job.

We provide the training you need to be a successful assistant coach. Coaches must be at least 18 years old to be a certified assistant coach.
