Holston Habitat is having a special #911Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 for Veterans at our build in Johnson City, TN for Matthew, Elizabeth, and their son! Tasks for the day include raising outside and inside walls. We are thankful to be able to provide this unique opportunity to our Veterans and first responders. Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
We are the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We are a nonprofit, housing ministry that partners with qualified applicants to build affordable housing.
We use volunteer labor and contributions of money and materials to build and repair homes for our qualified applicants.
Since our founding in 1985, we have built, repaired or refurbished homes for over 260 individuals and families in Carter, Sullivan and Washington counties and the city of Bristol, VA.
