STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit
organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM)
programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM
literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none.
STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected
subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
Do you want to be part of a dynamic international STEM Canada YouTube
production team? Are you passionate about creating compelling video content
and eager to gain hands-on experience in the world of digital media? We invite
you to showcase your skills and make an impact by volunteering for 4 months
on our exciting new STEM Canada YouTube channel project. As a valued
member of our team, you’ll collaborate with talented professionals, contribute
to innovative content, and build a portfolio that stands out in the industry. Join us and turn your creativity into captivating stories that will reach audiences
around the globe!
Responsibilities:
 Create compelling and visually appealing thumbnails that accurately
represent video content.
 Understand and incorporate YouTube's thumbnail guidelines and best
practices.
 Experiment with different design styles and elements to optimize click-
through rates.
 Collaborate with the video production team to ensure thumbnail consistency
with video content.
 Stay up to date with design trends and audience preferences.
 Analyze thumbnail performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:
 Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in design software (Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
 Understanding of visual storytelling and composition.
 Ability to create visually engaging and attention-grabbing designs.
 Knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms.
 Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
