Recruiting Organization: Hope for Cameroon

Organization Description

Hope for Cameroon is a registered apolitical non-governmental organization located in Montreal (Canada) and Douala (Cameroon) that aims to improve the livelihoods of internally displaced persons, particularly women, youth, and children, who are victims of the Anglophone crisis.

Our recent initiatives include the Seeding Hope Entrepreneurship Project (SHEP), which aimed to economically empower women through entrepreneurship training, business mentorship programs, and small business loans. This summer 27 participants have received funding and a 100 were trained and received certificates. Upcoming is our Back to School Campaign, which will finance displaced children’s tuition and school supplies for a year. Last year, thanks to our supporters, we were able to fund the education of 100 children and had the joy of seeing them succeed with remarkable grades!
