Purpose:
To assist the administrative staff with general office duties associated with special projects pertaining to the different departments such as bereavement, volunteer, nursing, etc. Work schedule will be between the office working hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Essential Duties:
Assists with volunteer mailing, including copying, folding, affixing labels, etc.
Assists with departmental mailing, including copying, collating, folding, affixing labels, etc.
Assist the administrative staff in other duties as required , including fundraising, etc.
Assemble hospice binders.
Calling patients for the Tuck In program.
General office tasks assigned by the Volunteer Coordinator or Support Services Director.
General Description
Provides attention to detail.
Provides organized skills and teamwork.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters and sign a confidentiality agreement.
Honor time commitments.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and health care professionals.
Minimum Requirements:
Complete application, background check, health screening, Tuberculosis Test and Volunteer Orientation.
Able to make a minimum commitment of 2 hours per week.
Maintains open communication with other team members, reporting events or changes of concern to Volunteer Coordinator or Support Services Director.
Attending volunteer support meetings and education as needed.
Complete mandatory training annually.
