Special Olympics Florida will be hosting the 2024 West Coast Regional Fall Classic at Wiregrass Ranch Sports Complex on Saturday, October 5

We need Volunteers to assist with the following activities:

  • Setup of the Venue
  • Assist with Lunch/Logistics
  • Assist with the Flag Football Competition
  • Assist with the Pickleball Competition
  • Assist with the Powerlifting Competition
  • Assist with Gymnastics Competition

Volunteers are also encouraged to stay all day to assist with the event as needed and help Cheer our Athletes to Victory .

As a Volunteer, you will receive:

  • FREE Special Olympics Florida T-Shirt
  • FREE Lunch
  • (If needed) Record of community service hours

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Print this Class B Form and fill it out
  • Bring the completed form to the event
  • Bring a photo ID to the event

Note: An adult MUST accompany volunteers under 15

"The mission of Special Olympics Florida (SOFL) is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Description

Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
