P:HC is dedicated to providing new video editors with meaningful portfolio projects that can be showcased to future employers. Our mission is to create impactful digital solutions while nurturing the next generation of media talent. Interns will gain hands-on experience and the opportunity to transition into a paid position after the internship.

Role Overview:
We are seeking passionate Video Archivist and Editor VOLUNTEER Interns (wage listed is for after volunteer position and successful product launch, not right away) who are eager to gain real-world experience in video editing and archival work. As part of our team, you will contribute to the creation, organization, and editing of video content for various projects. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills, build your portfolio, and work alongside experienced professionals. Additionally, interns will receive 5% of lifetime revenue from their edits on YouTube.
Responsibilities:
Organize and archive raw video footage and other media assets.
Edit video content to create high-quality, engaging videos for various platforms.
Assist in the creation of video graphics, animations, and other visual elements.
Ensure all video content aligns with the project goals and brand guidelines.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
Attend two weekly meetings: a 15-minute checkup and a 1-hour full team business meeting.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Familiarity with video archival practices and media asset management.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects).
Understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
Education & Experience:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Previous experience with video editing projects (personal, academic, or professional) is a plus.
Work Environment:
Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration.
Ability to commit to 10-20 hours of work per week.
Flexibility to attend two weekly meetings: a 15-minute checkup and a 1-hour full team business meeting.
