STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit
organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM)
programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM
literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-
based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of
science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
Do you want to be part of a dynamic international STEM Canada YouTube production
team? Are you passionate about creating compelling video content and eager to
gain hands-on experience in the world of digital media? We invite you to showcase
your skills and make an impact by volunteering for 4 months on our exciting new
STEM Canada YouTube channel project. As a valued member of our team, you’ll
collaborate with talented professionals, contribute to innovative content, and build a
portfolio that stands out in the industry. Join us and turn your creativity into
captivating stories that will reach audiences around the globe!
Responsibilities:
 Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube channel strategy aligned with
SMAC-SIAC’s mission and goals.
 Create and manage a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and engaging
video release schedule.
 Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality video content,
including scriptwriting, video shooting, editing, and post-production.
 Optimize video content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and
reach.
 Build and maintain a strong online community through audience interaction
and engagement.
 Explore and implement new video formats and trends to stay ahead of the
competition.
 Manage collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships with relevant
organizations and influencers.
Qualifications:
 Excellent project management and organizational skills.
 Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 Experience in social media marketing and community management.
 Basic understanding of SEO and YouTube analytics.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
