UServeUtah's United in Service Projects mobilize communities in meaningful volunteerism that promotes personal growth and builds connection. In collaberation with Project Embrace, we will help those in isolated areas receive access to medical resources. Volunteers will be washing, drying, and sanitizing medical equipment that will be distributed to individuals in the Navajo Nation and the Four Corners area this fall. Connect with your community, create a lasting impact, and honor the spirit of service by volunteering. You'll have a great time as we unite in service!

Make a difference this 9/11 Day of Service. People in isolated areas need regular and reliable access to medical resources. You can help by washing, drying, and sanitizing medical equipment that will be distributed to individuals in Navajo Nation and the Four Corners area this fall.

Position Description: Volunteers will start by checking in and receiving a brief orientation. They will then be assigned to one of three stations: washing, drying or sanitizing medical equipment. Accommodations are available at the drying station for those who need to sit.

Volunteers may sign up for ONE shift.

Shift A: arrive 9:45 am- 12:30 pm

Shift B:arrive 12:45 pm- 3:30 pm

Registration is required for all volunteers. All ages welcome but children under age 12 must have adult supervision.

An email is required for all volunteers over the age of 18.

UServeUtah, the Utah Commission on Service and Volunteerism, was created by state statute in 1994 and is comprised of 20 members representing local government, community based organizations, and statewide networks, as well as a small staff. As the state's central coordinating body for service and volunteerism, the Commission is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a vision and culture of civic engagement and national and community service within the state.
