Every Tuesday and Wednesday volunteers help to prep, cook, serve, a meal to our neighbors in need. Anyone can receive a meal, dine in or to-go. Meal service is from 4:45-5:45 pm.

We welcome all kinds of volunteers with varying abilities! People over the age of 15 may volunteer without a parent or guardian present. There is always a helpful and meaningful task for you to do!

Description

Franklin County Community Meals Program works with volunteers to feed out neighbors in need through 4 Community Meal Sites (Turners Falls, Greenfield, Orange, and Northfield) and our Orange Food Pantry. We also partner with the Food Bank of Western Mass at a monthly Mobile Food Bank in Turners Falls.

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.

  • Kitchen Volunteers must follow food safety guidelines. Please leave all valuables at home. Come wearing clean clothes and closed-toe shoes. We will discuss other policies and guidelines in the Orientation.
