Help English Second Language adults improve their language skills by becoming a VIP at PVSchools. As a volunteer you will assist our Title 1 Department support families with students attending school in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. We know that when parents improve their language skills their children's skills improve as well. We take a family approach and offer classes on a variety of days and times to accomodate parents' working schedules. Join as an instructor or tutor and we will train you!

The mission of the Volunteer in Paradise program in the Paradise Valley Unified School District is to increase student achievement by providing instructional assistance and the individual attention of dedicated, high-quality volunteers while also promoting positive school and community partnerships.
Description
VIP volunteers provide one-on-one and small group instruction on campus and online to children in grades K-8. Volunteers are paired with teachers based on their interests and schedules, and receive the training needed to become effective, confident tutors.
