Role Overview: Prance Earth News is seeking a skilled and motivated Nonprofit Marketing Expert to enhance our online presence and drive engagement through effective website copy, design, and SEO strategies. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while utilizing your marketing expertise to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

• SEO Optimization:

  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases that will drive organic traffic.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics to identify areas for improvement.

• Content Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our goals and engages our target audience.
  • Plan and create blog posts, articles, and other content that supports our mission and drives traffic to our site.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.

• Help connect with potential orgs and business interested in an article

  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all website / social content.
  • Work from our list and build researh
  • Leverage our current persuasive calls-to-action to share news platform with the goal of onboarding customers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in nonprofit marketing, with a focus on website copywriting, design, and SEO.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
• Proficiency in website design principles and user experience best practices.
• Experience with SEO tools and techniques, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and climate action.
