Role Overview: Prance Earth News is seeking passionate PT volunteer to join our team as Nonprofit Fundraiser Volunteers. In this role, you will help us raise essential funds to support our mission of driving climate action through innovative and engaging news and media. This is a part-time, remote volunteer position, offering an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Campaigns:

    • Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events.
    • Develop and implement creative fundraising strategies to engage donors and supporters.
    • Utilize online platforms and social media to promote fundraising initiatives.
  • Donor Relations: Local and national

    • Identify potential donors and build relationships with new and existing supporters.
    • Communicate with donors to share updates, express gratitude, and highlight the impact of their contributions.
    • Assist in creating donor communication materials, including newsletters, emails, and thank-you letters.
  • Grant Writing:

    • Research potential grant opportunities and assist in writing grant proposals.
    • Collaborate with the team to gather necessary information and documentation for grant applications.
  • Contact + Database Management:

    • Maintain accurate records of donor information and fundraising activities.
    • Track and report on fundraising progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, or related fields
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and climate action.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team.
