Position Overview:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a key role in advancing our work. You will collaborate with the MAP’s leadership to carry out MAP's mission and strategic plan. You will oversee all aspects of the hiring lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, safety, legal compliance, separation, and succession planning. This position supervises the intake coordinator, and other HR related staff member.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide clear guidance to management regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs are in compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements.

· Make recommendations to MAP’s leadership for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures, and practices in workforce management.

· Propose strategies for organizational development and effective talent management.

· Manage HR changes and updates and collaborate with Executive Director

· Provide performance management training and guidance to Executive Director in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters

Position Requirements:

·Knowledge on labor laws

·Demonstrated commitment to a service and people oriented approach

·Experience in a non-profit organization, preferred

Desired Qualifications:

·Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently establish plans and successfully execute multiple assignments with conflicting priorities and concurrent deadlines

·Ability to communicate and work effectively and collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
