In honor of 'HOLA Day' join us and volunteer at Heart of LA's Day of Service on Saturday, August 23rd from 10 AM - 2 PM!
We are calling on our amazing volunteers and partners to help support our mission to maintain a safe, welcoming and beautiful space that the kids in our community deserve. With your help, we can do our part to create a welcoming space for everyone!
Volunteers will be assisting with one or more of the amazing projects below:
Beautification projects include
- Campus Clean Up
- Back to school postcards
- Welcome back posters for our classrooms
- Tidy up classroom
- Participate in kid friendly activities and crafts
Backpack Assembly
- Assemble over 500 school supply kits and backpacks
- Beautification projects & backpack assembly starts at 10:30 AM until 12 PM
- Distributing backpacks to Heart of LA students + families starts at 12 PM until 2 PM
- Parking information will be provided to all volunteers who confirm their attendance
- Snacks, water, and other refreshments will be provided!
