Want to have a richer and fuller life, spend some time helping others. At Good Shepherd Hospice we are looking for volunteers to donate a few hours a month performing acts of kindness for patients and their families. We know that some of the things our patients value most are thoughtful gifts of time, attention and your presence.
Can you bake a cake? Use a computer? Do office work? Sit quietly and listen? Read a book, write a note, or deliver supplies? These are just a few of the things that our volunteers do at Good Shepherd Hospice.
We provide free training and continuing support. To learn more, please email or call us at 918-743-5067. We welcome your help!!! We're looking for awesome people in the Henryetta, Muskogee, and Bartlesville areas....as well as Tulsa.

Description
COMPASSIONATE ABOUT CARE. passionate about life.
At Good Shepherd Hospice, we believe that health care is more than just a diagnosis and a treatment. It's a daily exercise in making this moment...this today...the very best it can be. We're here to help our patients achieve that goal - physically, mentally, spiritually...and for whatever that means individually.
We believe that in the passing of a person’s life, there are also extraordinary opportunities for compassion, reconciliation, spiritual healing, and renewal.
Our Volunteers play a vital role in our Hospice program. From working in the office, to creating special projects at home, to visiting to provide companionship and ease loneliness, Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteers make special moments happen again and again for the patients and families we serve.
