NOT PAID VOLUNTEER POSITION
Project Accelerate, Girls Inc.’s college prep program, is seeking volunteer mentors to help high school girls with the college application process for the 2024- 2025 school year.
Junior Mentoring:Thursdays 5:30pm-7pm October-May
- Coach high school juniors in small group settings through their college search process. You’ll cover topics such as essay writing, interview skills, and scholarship research, nurture girls’ academic interests, and share your own experiences. Dinner is included!
Senior Mentoring:Tuesdays 6pm-7pm September-May
- Be matched with a high school senior, who you will support throughout their college application process and transition into college, putting into action the skills they gained in the previous year. Dinner is included!
