About River of Hope Community Foundation

Location:

P.O. Box 305, Star, ID 83669, US

Mission Statement

The River of Hope Community Foundation was created to expand public art, provide scholarships to area youth with a focus on the arts in all its forms, create unified opportunities in the arts for individuals with intellectual disabilities and local seniors, enhance botanical arts, historical art preservation, and the performing arts. The Treasure Valley is a broad canvas, and it's our hope to make it an even more beautiful place to live, work and play.

Description

The Art by the River show is our cornerstone event, with over 100 Idaho only artists and crafters in a 2-day juried show. We feature the only Rising Stars student program in the valley, giving students the opportunity to experience the full range of a juried show experience, including ribbon award recognition. The art community in the treasure valley is well established, we hope to provide a "gold standard" show to showcase them.
