HR Management/Recruiting Specialist

ORGANIZATION: WALKING IN THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE FOUNDATION

Job Summary: The HR Management/Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will involve managing recruitment efforts, developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management and recruitment, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving organizational success through effective human capital management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

    • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
    • Conduct background checks and reference checks.
  2. HR Strategy and Policy Development:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
    • Create and maintain employee handbooks and ensure all HR practices are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Develop and implement performance management systems and employee development programs.
  3. Employee Relations and Engagement:

    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Address employee grievances and provide support for conflict resolution.
    • Organize team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and develop action plans based on feedback.
  4. Compensation and Benefits:

    • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and benefits administration.
    • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
    • Provide guidance on employee benefits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  6. HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with HR-related documentation and record-keeping requirements.
  7. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Stay updated on HR regulations and industry best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Manage workplace safety and health programs
