About HEROIC TAIL

Location:

4431 41ST ST, SAN DIEGO, CA 92116, US

Mission Statement

We are a small civilian and veteran-run dog rescue based in San Diego, California. Our goal is to change the rescue world. We adopt our dogs to loving and qualified homes and send them off with free training to ensure a positive experience for both pup and parent. Some of our dogs have been able to be trained for service work and have found their adopter. With our education initiative, we work to educate people about the rescue industry and provide ways to help, while always educating our volunteers, fosters, and adopters on building positive relationships with the dogs we help. With The Heroic Tail’s model, we are not only able to rescue dogs from high-kill shelters who happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, but we are also able to help the dogs deemed "unadoptable" and give them a better chance at a happy and healthy life!

Description

Our results speak for themselves. We’ve never had a dog returned due to behavior and we’ve never lost a dog due to an inability to help them. We’ve paired up with one of the top trainers in San Diego who generously donates their time and efforts in order to help us accomplish our goals and truly help as many dogs as possible.
