Want to help us make the 2025 American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of West Valley the biggest event yet? Relay for Life is a fun-filled, volunteer driven event that mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones and fight back against a disease that takes too much. Do you have ideas about how to get more folks Relaying, where to get the best entertainment, how to have a meaningful luminaria ceremony, and anything and everything in between? If you’re nodding your head "yes" as you’re reading this, we’d love to have you join our Event Leadership Team for this upcoming season! Bring your ideas for Relay and the fight against cancer to life to raise money for the cause and bring the community together! We have several positions available on the team! Whether you’ve been Relaying for years, are coming back to us after a few years off, or are brand new to Relay, we need the most passionate, inspired volunteers to help us not just to have a successful Relay For Life, but to have our best Relay ever! The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest peer-to-peer fundraising event dedicated to saving lives from cancer. For over 35 years, communities across the world have come together to honor and remember loved ones and take action for lifesaving change. Funds raised through Relay For Life directly support breakthrough research, 24/7 support for cancer patients, access o lifesaving screenings, and much more.

REQUIREMENTS
- Leads are required to attend an Event Leadership Team monthly as well as Team Captain Meetings as we get closer to the event. Leads will work on their own time to complete assigned tasks. Leads are required to attend the event for the entire time.
