Birding Guide - Bonnet Springs Park

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Volunteer Polk

  • 1 person is interested

On the first Saturday of each month from 9:45 to 12:15, Bonnet Springs Park has Birding on the Boardwalk. Volunteers are placed along the boardwalk to greet guests, distribute and collect binoculars and birding guides, and help guests discover and identify birds and other wildlife.

Expected attire is family friendly. A Bonnet Springs volunteer shirt will be given to help guests identify you in the park. For outdoor assignments it is recommended that volunteers should bring something to stay hydrated, have head and eyewear protection, and wear sunscreen.

Bonnet Springs Park is a place within walking distance to our city's urban core where art, recreation, fun, and tranquility intersect by design. This blended urban/natural park provides spaces to escape, engage, and explore with one another and with nature while experiencing and learning about the extraordinary history of Central Florida.
