Are you passionate about horses and looking for a way to spend time around them while contributing to their care and environment? Join us as a volunteer at our equine barn! We need dedicated individuals to help with various daily tasks to keep our barn clean, organized, and running smoothly. Volunteers must be 18 or older to volunteer in the equine area.

Volunteer Responsibilities:
  • Clean Stalls/Paddocks and Farm Animal Pens/Coops: Ensure the living areas of our animals are clean and comfortable.
  • Dust Stall Fronts: Keep the stalls neat and free from dust.
  • Blow Out Barn and Sidewalks: Use a blower to clear debris from the barn and sidewalks.
  • Scrub Troughs/Feeders/Waterers: Maintain clean and sanitary feeding and drinking areas for our animals.
  • Wipe Down Feeders in Stalls: Ensure feeders are clean for each meal.
  • Clean Stall Auto Waterers: Make sure the automatic water systems are functioning properly and are clean.
  • Clean Up Hay/Debris on Sidewalks and in Storage Areas: Keep common areas tidy and free of clutter.
  • Stock Feed Room and Supply Rooms: Help organize and stock the supplies necessary for daily operations.
  • Fill Hay Nets: Prepare hay nets for feeding times.
  • Tidy Arena Storage, Hay Barn, and Supply Rooms: Ensure all storage areas are organized and accessible.
Important Note:

Volunteers will not be expected to handle the horses directly. The primary reward for your hard work will be the opportunity to spend time around these magnificent animals and contribute to their well-being.
