The Houston SPCA is excited to offer a wonderful volunteer opportunity for those interested in photography. We are looking for volunteers to help capture the best moments of our adoptable animals, showcasing their unique personalities to potential adopters.
Photography Volunteers
Training:
All volunteers who wish to participate in photographing our adoptable animals must first go through the application process, orientation and a training session. This session will cover the proper steps and guidelines to ensure high-quality photos to help our animals find their new homes.
Submission:
Photos will be submitted through Jotform or Google Drive.
Animal Handling Volunteers
We also have openings for volunteers to assist with animal handling during the photo sessions. These volunteers are greatly appreciated as they will take the dogs on a brief walk and help them stay still and pose for their picture.
Commitment
As we constantly have new animals coming through our organization that need their picture taken, it is imperative that volunteers interested in this area also understand the commitment required. Your dedication helps us present our animals in the best light, increasing their adoption chances.
Thank you for considering this volunteer opportunity with the Houston SPCA. Your involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of our animals!
How to get started volunteering at the Houston SPCA: Submit Payment: $40 for ages 18 and up; $25 for ages 16-17
