Bideawee, one of the oldest humane organizations in the country, is looking for volunteers for a variety of our animal-friendly support services at the Westhampton location and throughout Suffolk County.
ADOPTION CENTER : Volunteers are vital to providing high-quality care to our adoption center animals; walking the dogs, providing cats with important socialization time and sharing love. (Location: Westhampton)
EVENTS: Volunteers are the best ambassadors for Bideawee and we are proud to have them represent us at community and Bideawee events. (Location: Westhampton & Other Suffolk Locations)
ADMINISTRATIVE: Help Bideawee staff with administrative tasks and paper work. (Location: Westhampton and Work from Home)
FOSTER ANIMALS: Provide care for young animals (some need bottle feeding) or animals with medical or behavior problems. (Location: Your Home)
OUTDOORS/FACILITES: Help with gardening, outdoor jobs, mowing, weeding, trimming of bushes, minor repairs/construction. (Location: Westhampton)

Bideawee's three locations in New York, Wantagh, and Westhampton is home to approximately 350 to 500 animals at any one time and places thousands of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens in loving homes every year. The organization operates two full-service veterinary practices in Manhattan and Westhampton and is also home to two of the oldest and largest Pet Memorial Parks in the country located in Wantagh and Westhampton, NY.
