Gospel Village of Lakeland is searching for volunteers to assist with their weekly Thursday night dinners for their residents. Each Thursday, volunteers offer the residents a social opportunity with friendly faces and conversations. Sometimes Gospel Village even holds events and celebrations for their residents on Thursdays. Volunteers are needed to help prepare for these dinners and events, serving or plating dishes/food, and building relationships with the residents of Gospel Village. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Non-slip shoes are recommended.
Gospel Village is a Christ-centered organization providing a home and work to those experiencing chronic homelessness. Through the organization's efforts, they provide community with open arms and support for those in need. As a volunteer, you can be a part of this great mission as well!
