About Us:

The Peace Economy Project (PEP) is dedicated to promoting peace and economic justice through research, advocacy, and community engagement. We are launching a podcast to further our mission by exploring topics related to peace, social justice, and economic transformation.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Volunteer Graphic Designer to join our team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual content that enhances our marketing efforts and supports our podcast and other initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for design and social justice to contribute to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Content Creation: Design graphics for social media posts, podcast covers, promotional materials, newsletters, and other digital and print assets.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with PEP’s branding guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all platforms.

Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the marketing and social media manager, podcast team, and other volunteers to create cohesive and effective visual content.

Concept Development: Develop creative concepts and design layouts for various campaigns and projects.

Feedback and Revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members and make necessary revisions to designs.

Innovative Design Solutions: Provide innovative design solutions that effectively communicate our mission and engage our audience.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in graphic design, either professionally or through volunteer work.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other design tools like Canva.

Creativity: Strong creative skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.

Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Passion for the Mission: A strong interest in social justice, peace, and economic issues.
