The Lake Wales Arts Council is seeking a friendly and welcoming person as a volunteer receptionist for their Arts Center. This volunteer will enhance every guest's experience in this creative environment, face-to-face and via phone, through a pleasant greeting and offering of information on the Arts Center and events. Other duties may include assisting in planning artist receptions, setting up and arranging artwork, helping caterers set up, supporting sales and transactions, and promoting events through various channels.

The ideal candidate has a warm and inviting personality, excellent communication skills, office software proficiency, and a great passion for the arts! Expected attire is business professional. No protective equipment is required at this time, but this opportunity does involve face-to-face interaction. This opportunity does require the ability to travel utilizing stairs. The desk is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 3pm. Scheduling may be discussed during the interview.
