ORGANIZATION: Helping Link-Mot Dau Noi


Do you like doing online research to track down that perfect opportunity? Helping Link seeks a volunteer to lead the search for sources of grant funding for our Fund Development Team. Tasks include attending a weekly virtual meeting and researching potential public, private, corporate, foundation and individual funding sources via online databases, the web and general word of mouth.

Minimum commitment: 2-4 hours/week. Hybrid online/in-person but volunteer must live in the Puget Sound area (Western WA). Training is provided. Skills required include the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple or ongoing deadlines; strong research and writing skills; and the ability to use Microsoft Teams. Description

Helping Link has been serving the Vietnamese-American immigrant community for twenty-five years. We provide English language, citizenship, and computer education classes for adults and seniors; job-site language training; information and referral services for our most vulnerable; and cultural events for the community. Our programs are offered in a bilingual context and in a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere.
