Joining our team as a Hospice Volunteer means becoming a source of comfort for those in their final days. As a Companion Volunteer, your role is to be a gentle presence for patients who may feel alone or scared. It’s about offering emotional support, a warm smile, or simply holding their hand while they share their thoughts. Your visits can become a treasured moment in their day, creating a bond that brings joy and ease to their experience, helping them to feel less isolated during a challenging time.

Additionally, your contributions can extend beyond direct patient care. Many hospice patients require support with administrative tasks, such as organizing bereavement mailings and helping with arts and crafts.
