We’re Saint Paul Promise - a community of people and resources that has set out to ensure that families have the systems, support, and opportunities they deserve on the path to college and career success! We host a Promise Advocates Cohort (PAC) for families to learn and work alongside fellow parents, caregivers, and neighbors to ignite inherent political power, invest in their capacity as self-advocates, and act on opportunities to create real change grounded in lived experiences.

Overview of Volunteer Shifts: Support activities for children (ages three to ten) and youth (ages 11 and up) as their parents and caregivers participate in PAC programming. A staff member will be onsite to lead children and youth activities. A volunteer will support the implementation of those activities, which will include story time, games, and various arts and crafts projects. Flexibility is key in this role as group size and scholars’ ages will vary from shift to shift.

  • Play, read, and engage in conversation and activities with kids one-on-one and in small groups
