ORGANIZATION: Leach Botanical Garden
Please visit the new page to apply.

Join us in the botanical garden's "Back 5" habitat restoration area to remove invasive plants and plant native plants. Our regular volunteer group meets Fridays 9:00am - 12:00pm, but alternate days and times are available for group volunteer events. The Back 5 is a diverse habitat area that includes sunny slopes, woodsy areas, a vernal pond, and Johnson creek frontage. Volunteers work year round helping to restore and maintain this unique habitat.

Description
Many dedicated volunteers keep Leach Garden humming. They welcome visitors, provide tours of the Garden, and staff the Gift Shop. They rake trails and weed garden beds, tend our Habitat Enhancement outdoor classroom area, and assist with events and fundraisers. We encourage you to visit the garden and become a volunteer!
