ORGANIZATION: Greater Cleveland Volunteers

Serve as a child advocate, being the voice of the child to ensure that the best interest of the child is being served.

Have regular in person contact with the child. See where the child lives, attends school and participate in community activities. Meet with the child at least twice per month for the first 6 months, then monthly after that.

Serve and support the child, traveling throughout the community. 10-15 hours per month, until their case closes, up to 2 years. Minimum age is 21.

Must be avaialble during the weekday from 8:30-4:30 to attend court hearings. All other work is done on your own schedule.

Mandatory pre service training and then 12 hours annually.
