We are Celebrating the last lap of our annual campaign with a community block party, which will be open to all.
Our community block parties are fun and engaging for the whole family. We need volunteers of all abilities to help our events run smoothly. The volunteer tasks include, lifting and carrying tables and tents. Engaging with the community at our information table or our craft project table, watching out so the kiddos don't wear their shoes in the bounce house and helping the team so that everyone runs smoothly.

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.
