ORGANIZATION: Sierra Club Washington State Chapter

We need your help contacting Sierra Club members to get out the vote for Dave Upthegrove for Commissioner of Public Lands!

Dave Upthegrove is the leading Democratic and environmental candidate for Washington's Commissioner of Public Lands - he has sole endorsements from Sierra Club, Washington Conservation Action, and 30 grassroots Democratic organizations around the state! Dave plans to protect mature forests, improve wildfire prevention, and increase recreational opportunities on state lands. This is a historical opportunity to elect a truly progressive and innovative leader to head the Washington State Dept. of Natural Resources.

No experience necessary! We will start the phone bank with a quick training to get you set up and help guide you along the way. So join us to make historical impact in conserving our state forests and natural resources!

Mission Statement

To explore, enjoy and protect the planet. To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources; to educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out those objectives.

The Sierra Club's members and supporters are more than 3.8 million of your friends and neighbors. Inspired by nature, we work together to protect our communities and the planet. We’re America's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization.

The Sierra Club Washington State Chapter is a team of staff and volunteers working to empower our communities to tackle a broad array of environmental challenges across the state. The work we do ranges from protecting wilderness to fighting climate change; from advocating for clean water for people and fish, to rallying our neighbors to stop new fossil fuel projects in their tracks. We organize diverse activities such as hikes, community rallies and political campaigns to achieve our goals. Join in and help us protect our air, land and water throughout our beautiful state!
