Are you a charismatic individual with a knack for quirky personalities? NuWave Community Media is seeking a volunteer voice male host and his trusty sarcastic robot sidekick for our new scripted podcast, "UpVote." Dive into the 1970s and bring Reddit stories to life with your unique flair!
Requirements:
- Ability to embody a 1970s personality.
- Skilled at reading and delivering different Reddit stories.
- Comfortable with improvisation during unscripted portions of the show.
- Host Role: In addition to voice acting, the position involves various production tasks.
Audition:
- Email a voice sample of a provided script (attached to this post) to upvote@nuwavemedia.org.
Note: Only applicants who complete the audition by emailing their voice sample will be considered.

Description
New media is the demand of the new age. Individuals, businesses, and entrepreneurs who have adopted new concepts have an edge and are already capitalized on this idea. And by reinforcing projects and brands with new media and other marketing tactics, they have experienced a stronger impact and greater reach to their target audiences.
We provide a space for students and the community, where they can get hands-on experience on media, new media, and apply other marketing techniques to projects, through training, mentorship, and experiential peer-to-peer learning. NuWave members will be active learners and will be responsible for creating and assessing short and long-term project goals. They will experience the process of working with a team, generating ideas, meeting deadlines, generating concepts, analyzing target audiences, recording, editing, sound engineering, and learning to be effective and skilled communicators and critical thinkers.
